7 Important Functions of Golgi Apparatus are as follows-

1. Golgi apparatus important functions include storage modification and Packaging of products in vesicles.
2. Golgi apparatus also called  the secretary organelle of the cell  because it packages material synthesized in the Endoplasmic Reticulum  and dispatches it  to intracellular like plasma membrane and lysosomes  and extracellular  like cell-surface  target .
3. Golgi apparatus is also responsible in transporting of packaged proteins and lipids into vesicles  for delivery to targeted destinations.
4. Golgi apparatus is involved in the synthesis of cell wall and plasma membrane.
5. Golgi apparatus in some cases also makes Complex sugars  from simple sugar .
6. Golgi apparatus also process and bundles micromolecules like proteins  and lipids as they are synthesized within the cell.
7. Golgi apparatus is also involved in the  formation of lysosome .
