Kidney
- Kidney is the main organ of the human excretory system.
- It is a reddish-brown and bean-shaped structure, located towards the back of the abdominal cavity, one on each side of the backbone.

The left kidney is placed a little higher than the right kidney to adjust in the abdominal cavity. This asymmetry is caused due to the positioning of the liver.
