Parts of Human Excretory System are as Follows –

Renal artery

  • The renal arteries bring unfiltered blood to the kidneys

Renal vein

  • The two renal veins carry filtered blood to the heart, from where it can be pumped around the body again.

Kidneys 

  • Kidneys are the primary organ of the excretory system. These are bean shaped organs located.

Right kidney

  • This organ sits slightly lower than the left kidney, beneath the liver.

Left kidney

  • This is one of two bean-shaped organs that filters blood to make urine.

Inferior vena cava.

  • Inferior Vena Cava carry deoxygenated blood from kidneys towards the heart in this large vein.

Abdominal aorta

  • This main artery carries oxygen-rich blood from the heart.
  • Bring oxygenated blood to kidneys.

Ureter

  • Narrow, tubular structure, open into urinary bladder and pour urine into it.
  • A one-way flow of urine is carried by the ureters from the kidneys to the bladder.
  • Composed of transitional epithelium.

Urinary bladder

  • Urinary bladder is a storage bag that holds urine from the kidneys until it is ready to be released.
  • Located in the pelvic cavity.
  • Its inner lining is composed of transitional epithelium.

Urethra

  • The urethra is Canal like structure that carries urine from the bladder out of the body.
  • It  opens to the exterior by urethral orifice. 
  • It is much longer in males.
